En ese contexto, el profeta Samuel erigió una piedra como un monumento de agradecimiento y recordatorio de la ayuda que Dios había otorgado al pueblo de Israel en su lucha contra los filisteos.

En Mateo 1:23 se escribió: «He aquí, una virgen concebirá y dará a luz un hijo, y llamarás su nombre Emanuel, que traducido es: Dios con nosotros» La verdad es ésta: Dios está con nosotros. Este solo hecho puede y evitará los sentimientos de desánimo y de ansiedad. La presencia de Dios es algo que podemos experimentar personalmente hoy.

Manantial ubicado en el Barrio «La Hermosa» de la Ciudad de Santa Rosa de Cabal, Risaralda.
Jireh es una palabra hebrea que significa «El Señor proveerá». Aparece en la Biblia en Génesis 22:14, donde Abraham nombra ese lugar después de que Dios le proveyera un carnero para sacrificar en lugar de su hijo Isaac. La clave para experimentar la provisión de Dios es tener fe y confianza en Él. Cuando confiamos en Dios y le pedimos su ayuda, Él nos proveerá de lo que necesitamos en el momento adecuado.

En la Biblia, el monte Horeb, que también recibe el nombre de monte Sinaí y monte de Dios, es el lugar donde Dios se apareció varias veces. El Monte Horeb tiene un profundo significado espiritual y se relaciona con varios principios bíblicos importantes; representa la santidad de Dios y la necesidad de acercarse a Él con temor y reverencia.
